Authorities in Belgium say the suspect arrested this weekend in connection with November's deadly terrorist attacks in Paris was planning to -quote- "restart something in Brussels."

Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders says they have evidence suggesting his threat was serious.

"The first comment coming from Saleh Abdeslam was yesterday, that he wanted to go to the State De France in Paris and he wanted to be a suicide bomber but he stopped. We don't know why, but he stopped. And the next informationí»s are that he was ready to restart something from Brussels. And it's maybe the reality, because I said we have found a lot of weapons, heavy weapons, in the first investigations, and we have seen a network of people around him in Brussels."

Abdesalam, one of the most wanted men in Europe, is accused of being one of the men who helped plan the deadly attacks in Paris in early November which left 130 people dead.

He's facing numerous charges, including murder and participation in a terrorist group.
