Mexico's Sinaloa Cartel leader Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman Loera has been recaptured.

Mexican President Enrique Pe?a Nieto took to twitter to announce Guzman's arrest.

Security forces have exchanged shots with suspected accomplices of Guzman, leaving at least five dead and six captured in an early morning raid in the town of Los Mochis on Friday.

It's being reported that the authorities are currently submitting Guzman to genetic and photographic tests to fully ascertain whether they have arrested the right man, months after his prison escape.
