A three-alarm fire has reportedly broken out in a typhoon shelter off Victoria Peak in Hong Kong early today, September 27. Five people are slightly injured and nine ships are damaged.

The incident occurred about 200 miles from the shore at around 2pm. The fire started on one ship at first and then spread to ships nearby.

Explosions were heard from the scene and black smoke was seen engulfing the site.

Firefighters rushed to the site and the fire was put under control about two hours after it broke out. It's not yet known what caused the fire.
