A list of dishonest people subject to enforcement has been publicized on a big electronic screen at Changsha Railway Station, central China's Hunan province on Tuesday. The list includes legal persons of some famous companies, the Xiaoxiang Morning News has reported.

The photo, name, ID number, the amount owed, dishonesty situation and legal document of the 54 dishonest persons subject to enforcement has been on a rolling display on an electronic screen at the city's railway station.

The legal persons of some renowned companies appeared on the list, including Liuyanghe Liquor, Heqiang Noodle, Youwen Food Co.,Ltd. Liuyanghe Liquor had the highest amount owed totaling 28,890,000 yuan (about 4.6 million USD).

The city's railway station was chosen because it is the busiest area, said Wang Lifu, the vice president of a court of Changsha Intermediate People's Court.

Though the electronic screen is a commercial one, it is provided free of charge for such publication because it is for the public welfare, said Chen Kai, general manager of Gaoxun Media, which owns the electronic screen at the station.

A migrant worker surnamed Zhou said it was a deterrent to these dishonest people and companies. The court was serious about dishonest behavior and he said he agreed with that.

The list is scheduled to run for two weeks.
