Authorities at the Beijing Airport are asking passengers to arrive earlier than they usually would, as stricter security checks are now in-place because of the APEC meetings.

The airport is also recommending people travel light so they can go through security more quickly.

Wuzhen-"Davos" for Internet

The city of Wuzhen in Zhejing has been chosen as the permanent host site for World Internet Summit. The first World Internet Conference is set to be held in the historic city from the 19th to 21st.

Over a thousand representatives from nearly 100 countries will participate in the Summit.

Disposable Income Rises  

News stats for per capita incomes of urban residents through the first three quarters have been released.

They show Shanghai, Beijing and Zhejiang are the top three places for incomes, with people earning an average of over 30 thousand yuan per year.

Taxi Fuel Surcharge Stays

Transport authorities in Shanghai say a taxi fuel surcharge is going to remain in-place, despite seven consecutive drops in the price of fuel since July.

Several domestic airlines have lowered their surcharges to reflect the fall in fuel prices.

Officials in Shanghai say the one-yuan fuel surcharge for taxis will be imposed as long as the fuel price remains above 6.43 yuan per liter.

Public Debut of Panda Triplets

The world's only surviving panda triplets have made their fisrt public appearance at their home in Guangzhou.

Zoo officials say the triplets, now over 100 days old, have passed a key point in their life and will be gradually introduced to visitors.

The trio's births at the end of July has been hailed as a "miracle," given the animal's famously low reproductive rate.
