"By studying major newspapers and new media in China and the US, one can see differences and imbalances. Evidences from the media coverage show American media have played a role different to what Chinese media do in the shaping of a new model of major-country relationship. Chinese media are enthusiastic advocator, and American media are skeptical critics. There is also an imbalance between the views expressed in traditional media such as newspapers and online opinions. So convergence of ideologies and convergence of traditional and new media may help find a balance in between."
