Apple has announced its decision to donate 10 million yuan towards earthquake-relief efforts in southwest China's Yunnan Province.
Apple China also changed its Website's homepage with words of condolences to the families of the victims who died in the disaster and concerns for people working there day and night.
On August 3, a 6.5-magnitude earthquake hit the province's Zhaotong city - the most powerful quake to strike Yunnan in 14 years. So far, the death toll has risen to 615.
After the Ya'an earthquake in Sichuan Province in April of 2013, Apple donated a total of 50 million yuan to support the quake-hit areas.
