China's first ecology museum has launched a large scale cultural and natural heritage survey.
China's first ecology museum has launched a large scale cultural and natural heritage survey.
The curator of the Liuzhi Suoga Museum of Ecology in Guizhou Province says the survey will be a comprehensive study of the Miao ethnic group.
It will cover such things as the Miao people's lifestyle, production, religion and singing and dancing.
The results of the survey will be stored as data to better serve the community's future development.
There are nearly eight million Miao people, most of whom live in southwest China.
The Liuzhi Suoga Museum of Ecology was opened in 1998.
