A Chinese Folk Culture Exposition, one of the main projects of the first Chinese Youth Culture Week, is being held in the southern city of Shenzhen.

Two thousand Chinese folk art forms including paper-cutting, embroidery and shadowgraphs have drawn thousands of people from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Macao.

The expo aims to enhance the knowledge of various Chinese traditional arts and culture among the younger generations.
