Chinese digital TV programs are expected to be launched early this month. Thirty digital TV channels will give Chinese people a whole new visual and acoustical feast in August.

Thirty digital TV channels will give Chinese people a whole new visual and acoustical feast in August.

Over forty million television users will have the chance to see these new digital programs when the service starts up.

The digital programs will reach 80 per cent of viewers around China by the end of this year.

These programs wil be free of charge for the first trial period.
