Experts Discuss Ecology Rebuilding in West China

Some 90 experts and scholars are gathering in Xining city of west China's Qinghai province to discuss rebuilding western China's devastated environment.
Some 90 experts and scholars are gathering in Xining city of west China's Qinghai province to discuss rebuilding western China's devastated environment and encourage sustainable development in the area.

They will exchange views on technologies and management of ecological rebuilding, especially on forest protection programs.

China has launched six forest protection projects since 1998 in its western region with a total investment of more than 90 billion yuan, or 11 billion dollars.
