Film stars from all over the world dazzled this year's Shanghai International Film Festival on Saturday night.
Film stars from all over the world dazzled this year's Shanghai International Film Festival on Saturday night.
More than 200 big names walked the red carpet, including the Hong Kong actresses Sammi Cheng, Michelle Yeoh and Garina Liu.
Featuring stars CoCo Lee and John Lone, the blockbuster Bamboo Shoot was the curtain raiser for the annual festival, and the movies walk of fame meant Shanghai was all a-buzz.
Sixteen films, nine from Europe and seven from Asia, are expected to impress the judges for the Jin Jue Award.
Another 10 new films from Asia will vie for the title of Asian New Talent Award during the festival.
One of the two top-A category international film festivals in Asia, the week-long event will end on June 13.
