2004-5-31 11:47:35
CRIENGLISH.com
China is planning to assist AIDS patients in the next three to five years using various methods, including encouraging them to help themselves and each other.
The scheme will cover 90 percent of the patients in certain AIDS prevention and treatment areas which have been established since 2003.
Monitoring spots will be set up in the areas while frequent epidemiological surveys will also be conducted.
Information collected will be used for the development and research of effective AIDS treatment and prevention programs.
