Ousted Haitian leader Jean-Bertrand Aristide yesterday showed his face in Bangui, capital of the Central African Republic. It's the first time the former President has appeared in public since he fled his country last week.
Since his arrival in Bangui on March 1st, Aristide has delivered several statements, directly or through those closest to him, saying that he was a victim of a "political kidnapping" plot carried out by the United States and France. (Zhang Shuangfeng)
