Shenzhen Customs Detain Inventive Cash Trafficker

A man from Hong Kong is seized by border police after it was discovered that he had attached a huge amount of US Dollars in cash to his legs using tape while going through Customs in Shenzhen, south China's Guangdong Province, at midnight on April 23, 2014. Xinhua News Agency reports that a man from Hong Kong with a large amount of US Dollars in cash taped to his legs was seized by border police as he passed through the Customs checkpoint in Shenzhen around midnight on April 23, 2014. Police officers also found more cash in the baggage of the suspect, with the total amount of cash being illegally carried by the man coming to 580 thousand US dollars (around 3.63 million yuan).
