Police in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region are on the hunt for a man who allegedly murdered seven of his family members on Oct. 14 in Pengyang County, offering a monetary reward for any information or assistance that can lead to the suspect's apprehension, reports Xinhua.com on Friday.

A notice released by Ningxia Hui Public Security Bureau (PSB) reported that 24-year-old Ma Yongdong allegedly murdered his father-in-law, Lan Youbu, and six other family members, including a pregnant woman, a four-year-old girl and a one-and-a-half-year-old toddler. A man matching the suspect's description--standing at 165-168cm, wearing a brown jacket and blue trousers--was reportedly spotted fleeing the crime scene.

Local law-enforcement is offering 100,000 (16,400USD) yuan to anyone who assists in arresting the suspect and a 20,000 yuan (3,280USD) reward to anyone with valuable information on the alleged killer's whereabouts.

Currently, Ma Yongdong is still at large.
