Wang Jing, a 37 year old woman in Beijing, gave birth to her second baby three months ago.
As the only child in her family herself, Wang said he had never thought she would be the mother of two children.
Many of her friends started considering a second baby after the one-child policy was relaxed last year, but most were held back by the thought of child care costs, education fees, and all kinds of double trouble.
"I was almost driven mad when my two kids fell sick at the same time. Still, I believe the best part is that each of my children now has a sibling, something I never had growing up." |
