China Reaffirms Ban on Surrogacy
A Chinese health official has reaffirmed the ban of human eggs and sperm for commercial use, saying the trade in these cells and surrogacy are against law and unethical.
Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health says the abuse of assisted reproductive technology (ART) was forbidden in China, which involves surrogacy and the selling and buying of eggs and sperm.
